3. Hosting and server log files
This website is operated on our own infrastructure in a data center in Germany. When you access the website, the web server automatically records information in so-called server log files that your browser transmits:
- IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of access
- name and URL of the retrieved file
- amount of data transferred and HTTP status code
- browser type and operating system used (user agent)
- the previously visited page where applicable (referrer)
This processing serves the technical delivery of the website and ensures stability and security (e.g. defending against attacks); it is based on our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Log files are automatically deleted after 7 days unless they are needed longer to investigate a specific security incident.
4. Consent, cookies & Google Analytics
Without your consent we set no analytics cookies. On your first visit we ask for your consent via a cookie banner; you can change or withdraw it at any time with future effect via "Cookie preferences" in the footer. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR in conjunction with § 25 (1) TDDDG.
With your consent we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). It uses cookies or similar technologies and processes usage data (e.g. pages visited, approximate region, device/browser) with a shortened IP address. Via Google Consent Mode v2, no analytics cookies are set and no data is transferred to Google before your consent. Transfer to Google LLC (USA) may occur; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Analytics data is retained for 14 months.
5. Fonts
Fonts are served exclusively and locally from our own server (self-hosted). There is no connection to third parties such as Google Fonts, and no data is transferred to third parties.
6. Encryption (TLS)
To protect data transmission, this website is delivered over TLS encryption (HTTPS). You can recognise an encrypted connection by the padlock symbol in your browser.
